    This report aims at studying the family formation in the Palestinian Territory and its determining factors (early marriage, marriage among relatives, and polygamy), it also sheds light on the characteristics of Palestinian households that influence their formation with comparison with societies of similar demographic and social characteristics. The report contains nine parts including the introduction, marital status of women at reproductive age and attitudes toward marriage during the past five years. Furthermore, characteristics of never married women, education and its impact on attitudes towards marriage, and comparison of never married women in the Palestinian Territories with their counterparts in some Arab countries. Additionally, the report presents early marriage compared with Arab and foreign states, median age at first marriage and the influential factors; such as education, refugee status, and other issues. And presenting age differences among married couples according to education, type of locality, and refugee status. Polygamy and marriage among relatives are also discussed in the final part of this report
