This document presents Israeli statistical data on Judea Samaria and Gaza Area during the years of the Intifada. Data include statistics on national accounts, the labor force, housing conditions, agricultural branch accounts, oil presses, and the financing of local authorities. Data on financing of local authorities is presented in Hebrew only. The report claims an increase of 8-9% in Gross Domestic Product in 1990 and 1991, after having remained stable in 1988 and 1989. In Judea Samaria, one fifth of the total national income was generated from work in Israel. The figure for Gaza Strip reached one third. Data presented on the labor force indicate an increase in unemployment in Judea Samaria from 3.6% to 10.3% between 1990 and 1991. This rate remained stable in the Gaza Strip at 3.6%. The report acknowledges the effects of the Gulf War on the number of workers from Judea Samaria and Gaza Strip working in Israel. In respect to housing conditions, the report claims a significant decrease in housing density in the Judea Samaria in 1992, averaging 2.1 persons per room, compared to 2.3 in 1985 and 2.8 in 1974. In the Gaza Strip, housing density has increased from 2.3 in 1985 to 2.4 in 1992. The increase was even larger in refugee camps.
