Estimates for the population size are presented in Palestinian localities based on the PCBS estimates for the total population. This was done through calculations based on the number of housing units in each locality. The estimate for the total population used for this purpose is 2,534,603 (1,571,575 for the West Bank and 963,028 for Gaza Strip).
