The report reviews secondary sources concerning the health services, demographic characteristics and health conditions in the Occupied Territories. The author highlights Israeli policies causing the deterioration of Palestinian health conditions.

The author recommends that health development occurs within the context of a comprehensive political solution in an integrated approach. The philosophy of primary health care should be emphasized. Cooperation between different health care providers should be achieved.
