This report similar to previous report by the Health Departments of the UNRWA provides an overview of the health status of the refugee population and the Agency’s health care program. The report comprises eight chapters that describe the progress attained under each program component and the major financial and operational constraints affecting them. The chapters cover the program management, capacity building, health infrastructure, medical care services, family health, disease prevention and control, health education and environmental health. The report ends with two annexes, one of them provides a list of the health publications and health services research undertaken by the department of health, the second annex provides the post titles and names of senior health staff at Headquarters and the Fields.
