The 1998 annual report of the Department of Health of the UNRWA provides an overview of the health status of the refugee population and the Agency’s health care program. The report also describes the progress attained under each program component and the major financial and operational constraints affecting it. The report consists of six chapters each one of them covers one aspect of the health program, program management, medical care services, family health, disease prevention and control, health education, and environmental health. The report ends with two annexes, one of them is a fact sheet that provides essential data, information on UNRWA health facilities and services and health status indicators, the second annex provides the post titles and names of senior health staff at Headquarters and the Fields.
