10.  Ramlawi,S. Viral Hepatitis Survey in Palestine 2000. PNA: Ministry of Health, 2000: 72pp.

The main objective of this survey is to identify the prevalence of the three main viral Hepatitis A, B, and C in Palestine. The epidemiological survey shows that viral Hepatitis A is endemic in Palestine; its prevalence among school children aged between 6-15 years is about 86.1%. Hepatitis B prevalence among all the population above 8 is 3.4%. As for Hepatitis C the survey shows that its prevalence is 0.3% amongst all the population above 8. There wasn’t a big difference in the prevalence rate of all viral Hepatitis A, B, and C among the different 15 districts in Palestine.
