The results presented in Lasch (1984) are repeated again with the additional finding that between 1981 and 1984 in mean annual incidence of polio dropped to 0.6/100,000 in Gaza (4 cases) while sero-surveys showed high levels of protective immunity against types I, II and III poliovirus.
