The author presents an overview of services available for management of patients with epilepsy. Among the issues discussed are: medical and paramedical personnel in terms of availability and distribution in the country, equipment and maintenance, medications and counseling services. A set of recommendations are presented for improving the level of services available for epileptic patients.
