A study of 40 Palestinian women aimed at evaluating the effect of the political changes resulting from the Lebanon war on the psychological stress process of Palestinian women and to assess the role of personal and political factors in predicting the stress process in Palestinian women.

Results indicate that Palestinian women were more helpless in their personal life after the war and that they perceived their social lives as being more dangerous and threatening.
