This report presents the initial results of a MPDL’s Screening and Registration Project of Gaza’s Disabled. It covers work undertaken in the northern and middle Governorates of the Gaza Strip during the summer of 2002. These results have been compiled using information gathered from the field in a house-to-house search for the disabled. This report aims to distill the information gathered and to publicize the database for use by organizations targeting Gaza’s disabled. The results in this report represent a comprehensive process of screening and registration of disabled individuals. It’s a full population census not a survey.
