A pilot study was administered to students of Bethlehem University to see if, after 5 years of Intifada, a change has occurred in the number of students with disabilities. Informal interviews were conducted with members of the administration to identify students with disabilities. No accurate conclusions can be made concerning an increase in the number of students with disabilities, because no official records are available. Twenty percent of the disabled students interviewed had Intifada-related disabilities. These students generally elicited more positive answers about their disability. Disabled students saw lack of accessibility to academic buildings as a major problem.
