This study was conducted by the West Bank Health Department of the UNRWA to provide program planners with information of the knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAP) of Palestinian women regarding maternal health issues. The study surveyed 1,000 ever-married women at all UNRWA health centers in the West Bank. The report provides information on basic demographic characteristics of the female refugee population as well as detailed information on maternal health knowledge, attitudes and practices. The report is divided into 4 different sections: the executive summary, an introduction, the principal findings and the conclusion.
