The programs and activities of the Development Unit within hdip contribute to:

• Empowering Palestinian women’s and enhances their participations in community at the political, social and economic level.

• Build the capacities of local community based organizations (CBOs) and the local councils at rural areas.

• Empowering the marginalized groups with focusing on community activists, women’s and children

• Reviving the effective participation of local community in determining polices.
